Cuda Craft Boatworks was established in 2017 to bring back the iconic boats of famed boat designer Ray Bond. Ray Bond designed and built custom, one-off boats from the 1940’s to the mid 1970’s, but he is best known for the legendary 19′ center console he introduced in 1960, called the “Cuda Craft”. To this day, Cuda Craft boats are widely regarded as the highest quality and most versatile 19′ center console ever built. In later years, Ray also designed a 16′ skiff , a 24′ open fisherman and a 32′ sport fisher.Today’s Cuda Crafts are pulled from molds built by Ray’s son, Del Bond, who worked closely with his father over the years. Del built the current molds based on the latest version of his father’s classic designs. With beautiful lines, rugged construction and proven performance, the new Cuda Craft Boats bring modern technology to Bond’s timeless designs by utilizing vacuum bagging, 100% wood-free construction and only the highest quality materials, while maintaining the same unwavering commitment to quality Ray demanded. A Legend is Reborn!
